Save Our Families is an Official Event Partner of Pride in the CLE 2026
CLEVELAND, Ohio — Save Our Families, a Cleveland-based 501(c)(3) community care nonprofit, today announced a formal event partnership with Pride in the CLE 2026. The organization will operate a dedicated community booth on Saturday, June 6, 2026, providing no-cost harm reduction supplies and connecting attendees with critical public health resources in a stigma-free environment.
For Save Our Families, this partnership is about more than presence. It is about bringing care directly into the spaces where people feel seen, celebrated, and connected. LGBTQ+ communities are disproportionately impacted by HIV, hepatitis C, substance use, and systemic barriers to care. Pride offers a visible and meaningful opportunity to provide prevention tools, trusted information, and support without judgment, shame, or precondition.
“We have always believed that public health and community celebration are not separate things,” said Kristy F. Steele, Executive Director of Save Our Families. “Pride is an act of survival just as much as it is an act of joy. Being present at Pride in the CLE means showing up with the same energy our community brings — unapologetic, fully resourced, and ready to make sure everyone goes home safer than they came.”
At the Save Our Families booth, attendees will have access to a range of no-cost supplies and resources available to all community members. Distribution will include:
- Naloxone for overdose reversal
- Safer sex supplies
- Sterile wound care supplies
- HIV and hepatitis C testing information
- Information about Nita’s Closet
The booth will be staffed by trained Save Our Families team members and community advocates prepared to answer questions, provide supplies, and connect attendees with ongoing programming and support services. Pride in the CLE 2026 takes place on Saturday, June 6, 2026. Additional event location details and booth information will be shared through Save Our Families’ social media channels and website at www.saveourfamiliesnonprofit.org.
