Join Our Fitness Challenge to Improve Mental and Emotional Wellness
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Cleveland, Ohio – February 27, 2023 – Save Our Families, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the overall well-being of families, is launching a fitness challenge to encourage physical activity. The first challenge of “Get Fit 2023” is to complete 10 miles within 31 days, from March 1 to March 31. According to recent studies, exercise positively impacts mental and emotional wellness. Exercise helps to reduce stress and anxiety, improve mood, and boost self-esteem. With exercise being essential for physical, mental, and emotional health, Save Our Families encourages everyone to participate in the fitness challenge.
To participate in the challenge, interested individuals can sign up through the Nike Run Club app by clicking on the following link: https://nikerunclub.sng.link/A6sko/96h7/r_f5a1fbef49. The app is free on the App Store and the Play Store. We also have a Spotify playlist for motivation!
Participants will have 31 days to complete 10 miles through walking, jogging, or running. We encourage everyone to share their progress on social media, share a screenshot using the hashtag #SOFGETFIT, and tag Save Our Families in their posts. The organization will also share motivational messages and tips to help participants stay on track throughout the challenge.
